- Quality Assurance Associates, experience
preferred but not necessary
- Quality Assurance Officers, experience
preferred but not necessary

The following are the minimum requirements
for the positions indicated above:
- Graduate of an allied medical course
an advantage
- Must have above-average English grammar
and punctuation skills
- Must be familiar with personal computers
and work processing software
- Must have excellent hearing acuity and
exceptional listening skills
- Must be able to keep information confidential
and maintain ethical standards
- Must have exceptional interpersonal
and communication skills
- Must be able to work independently and
in a team atmosphere
- Must have the ability to work well under
pressure
- Must have excellent time management
skills
- Familiarity with medical terminology
and good typing skills are added advantages

Additional requirements for experienced
Medical Transcriptionist:
- Must have the capacity to transcribe
at least 800 lines in an 8-hour shift
with a minimum of 98% accuracy
- Must have an experience in the same
capacity for at least 2 years

Additional requirements for experienced
Medical Transcription Editor:
- Must have the capacity to edit at least
1200 lines in an 8-hour shift with a minimum
of 98% accuracy
- Must have an experience in the same
capacity for at least 2 years
- Must have good leadership qualities,
as he/she is required to develop the team’s
performance and skills

Our recruitment process consists of the
following:
- A 334-item Qualifying Examination
- Functional Process Proficiency Examination
and Typing Test
- Personality Assessment
- Medical Transcription Proficiency Examination
for applicants in both transcriptionist
and editor posts.
- Series of Interviews
|
All applicants for the position of Medical
Transcriptionist Trainee must be willing to
undergo a 6-month comprehensive training and
competency course.
