Unlimited Solutions Corporation (USC) was founded in the year 2000 by Ms. Maya Del Rosario- Roessner. She decided on the same year that it was the right time to pioneer smartcard and its related technologies into the Philippines since there was much buzz and hype in Hong Kong Singapore and Malaysia. After several months of test markets and research and development, USC finally found their niche in the educational sector.  

Despite the lack of awareness and/or funding from the government or private sector for the usual killer applications such as transportation or national ID cards, it just made sense to divide and conquer. Mini communities such as campuses really made sense since they needed identification, physical and logical access – very basic components of multi applications which undoubtedly can only be addressed by a contactless smartcard solution.

Today, USC has amassed a wealth of knowledge for the past seven years about the Philippine market, which can never be surpassed by any company, local or foreign. This valuable experience is the same anchor that ensures their success and relentless pioneering spirit in the Telecommunications, Banking and Government sectors with more “firsts”.

Our Organization. USC has two offices in the Philippines with Manila serving as head office and the operations in Cebu servicing the clients Visayas and Mindanao region. USC has 35 regular employees, majority of which belongs to strong technical team which focuses on project implementations and product development. As of August 2007, USC has supplied more than 750,000 MiFare™ contactless cards in the Philippines since its inception in the year 2000. The client base is mostly using logical and physical access control, electronic purse, and over 30 other smartcard technology-based applications. Every day, more than 1.5 million transactions are processed by the SmartSolutions® Suite glitch free.
